Mary Louise Shue was born on August 26, 1937 in Corsicana to John L. Shue and Rachel L. (Dill) Shue.
She married Orvel M. Gibbs on August 8, 1956 in Fort Worth.
She worked as a custodian for the Everman School District before her retirement. Mrs. Gibbs was a member of the Pentecostals of Eastland, and loved singing gospel music. She will be remembered for the excellent peanut brittle she made, and enjoyed sharing with others.
Survivors include her husband, Orvel Gibbs; son, Terry Gibbs and wife, Tammy; daughters, Cindy Dickerson, Charlotte Hicks, and Sherry Elmore and husband, Tim; sister, Georgia Peikoff; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 14 siblings.
