Funeral services for Loretta Fay Wood will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26 in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Hines officiating. Burial will be in the Union City Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Loretta died Dec. 21, 2019, at her home in Union City. She was born Oct. 30, 1934, in Union City. She worked for Canadian County, retiring with 21 years of service. She was a member of the Baptist church and the founder of the Grow and Give Flower Club.

Loretta is survived by three sons, Clayton Wood, Clinton Wood and Clifford Wood, all of Union City; six grandchildren, Bobby, Jesse, Jeremy, Kendra, Travis and Trevor; seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Amilya, Zia, Destiny, Alyx, Zoe and Matthew; and special boys, Bill Ray Jr. and Chance Ray.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edna Bowen Watt; sister, Dorothy Mae Rimer; and brothers, Jimmy Watt, Richard Watt, Ronald β€œWhitey” Watt and LeRoy.
