Bruce Baker passed away on December 11, 2019. We will celebrate his life of 84 years at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel. Friends are invited to share memories and expressions of sympathy for the family to cherish in the area below the obituary.

Bruce was born on September 14, 1935, to Clarence and Dora Baker in Tom, Oklahoma. He married Patsy “Pat” McDermett on January 6, 1950, in Levelland, Texas. Bruce loved his family and as well as the Dallas Cowboys. When the Cowboys were playing the team was his main focus! He loved his Lord and wanted everyone to know about the saving power of Jesus. Papa loved his 13 grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. When they learned how to drive they often stopped at Nanny and Papa’s house for coffee, conversation, cookies, and love. He was extremely proud of his 34 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Missy Hall and husband, Robert; Cindy Glenn; Carolyn Casey; Wyvonne Mann and husband, Richard; Bruce Baker and wife, Tammie; 13 grandchildren, Robby Hall and wife, Hope; Ronny Hall and wife, Chelcee; Ally Hall, Ramsey Glenn and wife, Ashley; Kimm Hastey and husband, Kelly; Kevin Casey and wife Monica; Jason Harris and wife, Shonta; Shelly Jones and husband, David; Kristy Mann, Brandon Baker and wife, Lauren; Tiffany Griffin and husband, Hunter; David Baker and wife, Thalia; and Tanner Smith, and wife, Jessica; 34 great-grandchildren; and brother, Tommy Baker and wife, CeCe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Dora Baker; wife, Pat Baker; and grandson, Dustin Glenn.
