A lifetime resident of Saint Petersburg and last of five sons of Cade B. and Eva Allen, died on January 28, 2018 at Northside Hospital.
He was a real estate appraiser and past president of the Florida Chapter of Appraisal Institute. He was a graduate of Saint Petersburg High School, Class of 1941 as well as a United States Navy Veteran, graduate of the University of Florida and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church.
Burton is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary; his children, Tim (Angie), Amy Harris (Darren), Jeff (Tammy); seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; his church and his Koinonia families.
Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 1900 Gandy Blvd. North, Saint Petersburg on February 3, at 11 am.
