Anna Britt (nee Popovic) , 100 of Richboro, PA, passed away on Friday , September 14, 2018.
Anna was born on November 6, 1917 In Skippack, PA.; she was the daughter of the late Maria (Mochernuk) and Michael Popovic.
She moved to the Fairmount section of Philadelaphia at the age of 9, with her 4 siblings. She remained a long time resident, choosing to raise her family there. Anna’s career as a waitress expanded across many decades. She started waitressing at 2601 Parkway and continued her career as she went on to Walnut Park Plaza, Kelly’s on Mole Street and the Cosmopolitan Club. Anna ended her career at the age of 72 when she retired to babysit her great grandchildren. At the age of 85, Anna moved to Richboro, PA to be closer to her family, as her family was her life.
She was survived by her daughter Joan Budinsky (Stanley) and the late Phyllis Mc Ardle (Paul).
Best known as Baba, she was the grandmother to four Grandchildren: Scott Budinsky, Andrea McArdle, Dana Tillotson and Michael McArdle; six Great Grandchildren: Samantha Mehler, Alexis Kalehoff, Bob Tillotson, Doug Budinsky, Lauren Budinsky and Drew Budinsky and one Great Great Grandchild Mila Kalehoff. Along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Maria Popovic, along with James Britt, Harold McCaffery, Phyllis McArdle, Catherine Popovic, Sophie Sidorchuck, George Popovic and Daniel Popovic.
