Memorial services for Jerry L. Hyde, 77 will be on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS at 11:00 AM. Dr. Joey Faulk will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements; Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 10:00 AM until service.
Mr. Hyde, of Monticello, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. He was born on December 1, 1939 in Monticello, MS, to Henry Charles and Isabel King Hyde.
Jerry was a retired truck driver that enjoyed making people laugh; he loved his children and grandchildren and will be missed by them and his friends. With having Alzheimer's your memory becomes cloudy but he drove a truck every day.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers Roy, Duel, Charlie, Billy,Luther Hyde; two sisters Dorothy Carr and Lula Hedgepeth.
He is survived by his children Jerry Glenn Hyde (Christy) of Monticello; daughter Katherine Lynn Tullos(Rolan) of Brandon; two sisters Betty Lou Ballard of Jayess, Judy Smith of Monticello; five grandchildren Lauren, Ashley, Madison, Katelyn and Ray.
