Billy George Mize, 92, of Ben Lomond, AR died December 30, 2018 at a Hospice of Texarkana in Texarkana, TX. He was a United States Army Veteran and worked at Ashdown High School as a Bus Supervisor. Mr. Mize was also a member of Hilltop Bible Fellowship Church. He was born September 6, 1926 in Ben Lomond, AR to James Emmitt Mize, Sr. and Stella Jane Mize. He was preceded in death by his wife and one brother.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sarah Mize of Ashdown, one sister, Peggy Adams of Ben Lomond, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 at Ben Lomond First United Methodist Church. Viewing will be on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown.
