Mark T. Green, 61, of Kerrville, received his wings on Monday, December 23, 2019 surrounded by his wife, sons and family in San Antonio.

Mark began his journey on December 30, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky, born to parents; Raymond and Rosetta McCloud. Mark married the love of his life Virginia "Ginger" Gumbert on June 1, 1984. Mark and Ginger walked hand in hand and side by side together for 35 blissful years. Together they raised three Godly sons; Joshua Thomas, Corey Lee and Nathaniel Green. Who later blessed them with three beautiful daughters in "love" Geneva, Amanda and Brittany Green. Mark was then promoted to his proudest title, grandpa or Babo with 7 grandchildren; Braden, Paisley, Braylinn, Braxton, Brantley, Natalee and Jackson.
Mark devoted his life to the ministry by shining the light of God through all of his love, actions and words. Mark always had the perfect Bible verse for any occasion but to say he had a favorite would be cheating the other 31,101 verses. He loved them all from Genesis to Revelations.
He was a member of the American Lighting Association, Hill Country Builders Association and pastor and manager of Hill Country Lighting for 22 years. Mark didn't go many places in town where he wasn't known, he never met a stranger and will be truly missed by all. "Death is not leaving home but going home. Not defeat, but victory. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Mark is preceded in death by his sister; Linda Marie Burgin and his brother; David Lee McCloud.
Mark is survived by his parents; Raymond and Rosetta McCloud, beloved wife; Virginia "Ginger" Lee Gumbert Green, three sons; Joshua Thomas and wife, Geneva Green, Corey Lee and wife, Amanda Green, David Nathanial and wife, Brittany Green, 7 grandchildren; Braden, Paisley, Braylinn, Braxton, Brantley, Natalee and Jackson, sisters; Deanna Gumbert, Vickie Love, Marietta McClure and Carol Ann Bain and brothers; Raymond McCloud Jr. and Mark Anthony McCloud.
