Mrs. Wright passed away on Friday October 14, 2022 at Comanche Country Memorial Hospital under comfort care.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.Viewing will be held on Tuesdays, October 18 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and October 19 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Helen was born April 1, 1948 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Alva Benton Harris and Elsie Lorene (Smith) Harris. She grew up in Lawton where she attended Lawton High School. Helen married Larry Wright and they lived their lives in Indiahoma. Mr. Larry passed away in 2017. Helen was a business owner of the Lonesome Dove and loved to travel to various places. She often volunteered at the senior citizen's home. She enjoyed raising chickens and maintaining her garden. She was a wonderful baker and loved to spend her time puzzling and watching old westerns. She was a member of the Lawton Country Club. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Harris) Provencher of the home; her grandchildren Melissa Ryan, Michael Rogers, Samantha Rogers, and Jacob Rogers; and three great grandchildren; Mason Rogers, Allison Ryan, and Colton Upton; and her three sisters Geraldine Cooper, Mary Saunders, Dianna Flynn.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband; and her three brothers.
