Susan Jane (McClung) Friggens, 67, of Morgantown, died Thursday, August 27, 2015, at home. She was born on July 26, 1948 in Morgantown, a daughter of Joseph D. and Zelma L. (Malcolm) McClung.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Friggens; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Friggens and wife Karen, and Jason Friggens, all of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Samantha and Abigail Friggens; two brothers and spouses, James D. McClung and wife Shonet of Morgantown, and Thomas M. McClung and wife Michelle of Confluence, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean, in 1993.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation services are being provided by Hastings Funeral Home.
The family would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the emergency room and inpatient care staff of Monongalia General Hospital. Jane was deeply impressed by the friendliness, caring and competence shown to her by every one of you.

The family also wishes to express sincere appreciation and thanks to the staff at Amedisys Hospice. Jane was truly grateful for the peace you gave her and her family, sparing no effort or resource for her comfort, and for the kindness and caring shown by each of you. She appreciated you all so very much.
