Dawn Therese (Miller) Jordan, 60, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, with her family at her side.

She was the wife of James A. Jordan, Jr. Born in Memphis, Tenn. November 12, 1957, a daughter of William T. Miller, Sr. and Barbara Jean (Yelapi) Miller, she was raised and educated in Needham, and had formerly lived in Bellingham. Until her retirement, she worked for many years as the escrow clerk at the law office of Roche & Murphy in Franklin.

Dawn enjoyed camping, boating, reading, time spent with family, her grandchildren, and walks with her beloved dog Lady.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 11 years is her daughter Mellissa Ann McCann and her husband Dale of Bellingham, 2 sons: Andrew Charles Joseph Ward and his wife Jamie of Bellingham, Derek Nathaniel Ward of Bellingham, a step daughter: Michelle Skye of Brimfield, 2 brothers: William T. Miller Jr. of Alabama, and John M. Miller of Maine, 2 sisters: Desire Monique Leader of Princeton, and Lisa Marie Oliver of Bellingham. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Tuesday, August 7th at 11:30 AM in the New England Chapel, 40 Kenwood Circle, Franklin, MA 02038. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 9-11 AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin.
