Clara was born in Emanuel County, daughter of the late Lawrence Joseph Henry and Clara Dell Fagler Henry. She had worked for Miami Carey and Creston for many years. Clara was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Connie Lawson Bedgood.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Ray Jenkins, Reverend Tommy Henry, and Reverend Richard Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Cadle, Donald Peebles, Bruce Kirby, Gerald Henry, Alton Henry, and Larry Archer. The Family will receive friends Tuesday morning at Tomlinson Funeral Home one hour prior to the service at 11:00 A.M.
Survivors include her husband, James B. Anderson; two sisters, Joyce Grant and Juanita Kersey; brother, Lawton Henry; several nieces and nephews.
