Lynne passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 1, 2019, at her home, at the age of 74 years. Lynne was born on January 12, 1945, in Flint, to the late Willard and Aileen (Drinkrow) Robinson. Prior to her retirement, Lynne received her Master’s degree in social work and was employed through the State of Michigan. She was married to Theophilus A. Nelson on November 22, 1987, in Saginaw, Michigan, where he survives her.
Surviving besides her husband, Theo, are several cousins, other extended family members and dear friends. Lynne was also predeceased by her beloved yorkies, Sadie and Sophie.
In accordance with Lynne’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Lynne’s memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at the Wakeman Funeral Home, 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, MI. Pastor Matthew Hauser will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit and gather with the family on Sunday from 12 noon until the time of Lynne’s memorial service.
