Lewistown- Freda M. Blair, 94, of Lewistown passed away at 5:39 PM Friday December 20, 2019 at the Clayberg Nursing Center in Cuba.
She was born January 18, 1925 at Fairview the daughter of Joseph and Janet (DuFour) DeGulie. She married Ghlee E. Blair on February 23, 1957 at Canton. He died May 30, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter. Surviving are five children, Jane Williams of Cuba, Becky Ball of Fairview, Jacqui (Jim) Rilea of Canton, Sue Negley of Lewistown and Kevin (Anita) Blair of Lewistown, one brother, Joseph (Lucille) DeGulie, ten grandchildren, thirty- two great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
Freda was an RN for many years working at Mason District Hospital, the former Clarytona Manor in Lewistown where she was Director of Nursing and retiring from Graham Hospital where she worked in the emergency room. Freda enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking. She loved to travel and she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Monday at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to Graham Hospital School of Nursing Scholarship Fund.
