Steven Andrew Warner, 63, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 20, 2019 at his home in Braxton. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Braxton Cemetery.

Steve was born September 23, 1956 to James and Mary Warner in Canton, MS. He has lived in the Braxton area for the last 16 years and was a member of Braxton Methodist Church. He enjoyed his job as an antique dealer and was passionate about finding unique items. He enjoyed exploring with his metal detector, drawing, and was even a chimney sweep at one point in his life. He really enjoyed karate and worked hard to earn his black belt in Shotokan.

He loved animals and enjoyed riding and showing horses. He mostly enjoyed his family and spending time with his grandbabies.

Along with his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Neil Morton and Ron Graves. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dorothy “Dottye” Taylor Warner of Braxton; son, Kendall Warner of Braxton; grandchildren, Kaden Warner, Ashlynn Warner, and Devin Warner; brothers, Tom (Cassandra) Warner and John (Judy) warner; sisters, Joyce Morton, Sue (Will) Richard, Shirley (Ray) Aguis, and Dot Carter; brother-in-law, Ed (Olivia) Taylor; sister-in-law, Jeanne Graves; and numerous nieces and nephews.
