Barbara Jean Johns, 78, passed away December 19, 2019 at her home in Apache, Oklahoma. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born October 23, 1941 in Sumter, South Carolina. She graduated from Cache High School and married Carrol David ‘Dave” Johns in 1962. The traveled for a few years before settling down in 1969 in Oklahoma with their 2 children. She was a member of the Eastern Star and an avid bowler. She was the secretary of several bowling leagues. She was employed in the Players Club as a hostess for the Ft. Sill Apache Casino until she fell ill in 2012. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and loved playing cards.

She is survived by her husband Carrol David ‘Dave’ Johns, of the home; her daughter, Deborah Tucker and her husband Randell, of Lawton; her son David Johns and his wife Deborah, of Fletcher; 7 grandchildren: Michael Tucker and his wife Ashley, Christopher Tucker, Deborah ‘Dee’ Tucker, Lacy Johns and companion Ray Steadman, David Johns and his wife Cara, Chelsea Cunningham and companion Jeff Beaty, and Jacob Johns; 4 great grandchildren: Emily Tucker, Jaemie Johns, Kayla Jones, and Alexis Jones; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister.
