Seebaugh , Alice B., - of Woodbine NJ, was born in Atlantic City on February 2, 1931, the first child of Charles R. and Beatrice M. Seebaugh. She passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2017. Alice's family moved often before and during World War II while her father served in the U.S. Coast Guard. The family returned to southern New Jersey after the war and Alice graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1948. She became a world traveler while working for Pan American Airways in New York City. She again returned to New Jersey to work for the Federal Aviation Administration. Later she settled in Woodbine, operating a small farm while caring for her mother. She continued moving to new locations, eventually settling in Saint Joe, Arkansas. Alice is survived by her brother William R. Seebaugh, sister Deborah L. DeFuria, niece Dana M. Seebaugh and grand-nephew Jonathan D. Seebaugh-Chatman, and nephew David R. Seebaugh. A memorial gathering will be held on June 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Zion Cemetery in Bargaintown. In lieu of flowers, and in the spirit of Alice's love for animals and devotion to protecting our environment, the family welcomes donations to be made to National Audubon Society or The Environmental Defense Fund.
