WOOD, Vincent Arthur Jr., of Richmond, Va., passed away peacefully with family at his side on June 20, 2018, at the age of 89. He was the son of Vincent A. Wood and Carrie Warriner Wood. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Ann Taylor Wood; and two sisters, Jean Torbert and Frances Caldwell. He is survived by his four children, Sharon Wood Baltimore (Richard "Dickie"), Karen Wood Waterfield (Tom), Vincent Arthur Wood III (Mary) and Stephen Bryce Wood (Beth). He was a proud graduate of John Marshall High School and a member of the Cadet Corps, B Company. He met his wife, a Cadet Corps Company Sponsor, at JMHS and they were married in 1948. He spent most of his career in the investment business, starting as a Cashier with J. C. Wheat and Co. in the late 1950s as their 12th employee. He worked for several Richmond brokerage firms during his career and kept a "satellite" office at the Bull and Bear Club. He is survived by his grandchildren, Kendall B. Neely (Brian), Richard E. Baltimore Jr. (Mana), Mary Taylor Baltimore, Margaret Ann Waterfield, Joyce Ann Poutier (Robert), William Thomas "Wit" Waterfield IV, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Mason Wood, Ann Peyton Wood and Stephen Bryce Wood Jr. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Scott B. Neely, Bryce M. Neely, Kathryn T. Neely, Cyrus B. Baltimore, Maziar E. Baltimore and Ryan Thomas Poutier.
