Brandon Bernon Powell, 68, Marion, passed away at 12:23 am on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born in Marion on Wednesday, May 23, 1951, to Bernon and Margaret (Brinker) Powell.

Brandon graduated from Mississinewa High School and worked at RCA. He loved to read and collect Indian artifacts.

Survivors include his mother, Margaret Powell of Marion; sister, Brenda K. Powell of Marion; nephew, Ethan (Ellen) Purdy of Marion; and niece, Emily (David) Prows of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernon C. Powell, and his uncle, John Oliver Powell.

The family will receive visitors from 10:30-11:30 am on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Brandon's life will begin at 11:30 am with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Estates of Serenity.
