Juanita passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 and her date of birth was December 17, 1922.
Juanita and family moved to Kansas City, Ks while she was in her early teens. She attended Sumner High School. She also joined St. Peters Methodist Church, Kansas City, Ks. She was also a member of the Semper Item Girls Social Club. Juanita and family moved to Kansas City, Mo in 1957 where she later joined Jamison temple Methodist Church. She was very active in the church working as an Usher and working with the Junior Ushers. Juanita married James Heath Sr., in June of 1938, and had a son James Heath Jr. She became a widow when James was (killed in action) during World War II. After the war, she married Otis Jackson and from that union, Terrence Jackson and Otis Jackson Jr were born. Otis Jackson, Terrance Jackson, Otis Jackson Jr have all preceded Juanita in death. Juanita is survived by her oldest son, James Heath (Anna); sister-in-law Loria Anderson, and a host of nephews, nieces and grandchildren. She will be missed and loved by me and many others. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Jamison Temple CME Church. Visitation 9:00 a.m. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
