Geraldine Vivian "Ger" (Coligan) Bartholomai, 95, of Trotter, passed away Nov. 23, 2011, in Highlands Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Adelaide, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Anna Bell (Colbert) Coligan. She was Protestant by faith and was a loving homemaker for many years. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph James Bartholomai; daughters, Joyce (Carl) Doppelheuer, Judy Dodd and Linda (JR) Leonard; a son, James (Joanne) Bartholomai; and her loving grandchildren, Danny Doppelheuer, Kathy Nicholson, Karen (John) Hohmann, Johnny Dodd, Brian (Sally) Dodd, Eric Kreinbrook, Kelli Andrews and Jeff (Tana) Kreinbrook. Ger was a great-grandmother to Amber O'Casek, Kendra Hohmann, Chad (Jennifer) Hohmann, Brawn Dodd, Melina Doppelheuer, Justin Nicholson, Brooke Dodd, Jerrod Kreinbrook, Matthew and Zachery Leonard, Davin Andrews, Aria, Jeffrey, Jazlyn and Javen Kreinbrook, and Andrew, Christopher and Alexander Wiltrout; and great-great-grandmother to Cameron, Dominick, and Mason. She is also survived by her sister, Thelma Ambrisco; brother, Clyde Coligan; and also many-much loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ger was preceded in death by a sister, Meredith Francis; brothers, Michael (Frank), James (Red), Regis, Bernard (Bernie) and Orrin Coligan; beloved granddaughter, Carla Sue Doppelheuer Wiltrout; and five infant sibblings. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 North Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
