David Garrison born to Sylvester Sr. and Addie Pearl (Bess) on December 15, 1946 in Williston, Florida. He attended High School in Levy County. Soon after, he joined the Army, serving from 1960 to 1966. David believing that education was very important, attained many diplomas and degrees. Just to name a couple, he received a diploma in broadcasting and his Masters Degree in Business at Madison University in 2003.
David was indeed a man of all trades. He was a journeyman carpenter who also enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and playing the base guitar. He was a family man who lived his life to the fullest. Preceded in death by four brothers, Sylvester Jr., Curtis, Eugene, and Mark Garrison. Four sisters, Katie Mae Williams, Geraldine Hill, Lucinda Garrison, and Betty Witchered.
Precious memories of him will always be cherished in the heart of his wife Linda Fay Garrison. Three sons, Elsatio Garrison (Daphne) Detroit, Mi., Antonio Garrison (Decima) Gainesville, FL., Demario Garrison (Kesha) Albany, Georgia. Two daughters Katina D. Amooh, Tallahassee, Florida and Drucilla Garrison, Detroit. MI. Two sisters Vivian Smith (Leon) Newberry, FL. , Josephine Garrison Ocala, FL. Twenty-five grandkids, three great grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
