He was preceded in death by his father Wille (JR) Rice, brother Buck Rice, and 2 sisters: Tootie (Rice) Gollott and Aleesha Kay Rice.
Joseph is survived by his mother Schelby Rice; his four children: Tony Rice, Sr., Sheila Henderson, Joseph Rice, Jr., and Deidra Johnson; his four grandchildren: Zackary Deakle, Brianna Rice, Tony Rice, Jr., and Michael Henderson; as well as many other nieces, nephews. family members, and loved ones.
He was a lifelong commercial fisherman who also loved to hunt. He also loved to go to the drag strip and watch the cars race.
Funeral services will be held at Kenmar Family Funeral Home on Monday, December 23rd, at 12 PM. A visitation will be held before the service starts from 10:30 AM until 12 PM. Interment will follow the services at Oddfellows Cemetery.
