Mr Arthur Napier Goleby, of Railway Road, Colyton, died in Nepean District Hospital on Monday, at the age of 52 years. Mr Goleby was born at Rockhampton (Q.). He enlisted in the 9th Battalion in the last war and was wounded, losing a leg. Some time after his return he came to Colyton, and had been engaged there for the last four years in poultry farming. Mr and Mrs Goleby identified themselves with many worthy movements, and Mrs Goleby has been a particularly good worker in the community. Of late years Mr Goleby had been in indifferent health and had to go into hospital on more than one occasion. He was a member of the Limbless Soldiers' Association. Deceased is an uncle of Mrs H. Ravelle, of Colyton. Some years ago Mr Goleby was an alderman of St. Marys Council and took a lively interest In public matters. He was held in very high esteem in the district. He is survived by his wife (Florence Hermina). The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon. After a service at the home the remains were laid to rest in the C. of E. portion of St. Marys general cemetery. The coffin was draped with the Union Jack, and a number of beautiful wreaths were forwarded. The service was conducted by Rev. R. S.
