Rebecca "Becky" Butler, 40, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, July 11, 1979 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William "Butch" Stover and Pam Golightley Stover. She was a nurse for the Dyer County School System and a member of Parr Avenue Church Of Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Butler will be 2:30 PM on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Parr Avenue Church of Christ. Officiating this service will be Mr. Scott Owen. Interment will follow in Butler Family Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home and on Sunday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 at Parr Avenue Church of Christ.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Brian Edward Butler of Newbern, Tennessee; two sons, Bo Hunter Butler and Brier Luke Butler both of Newbern, Tennessee; her mother, Pam Golightley Stover of Newbern, Tennessee; one brother, James Stover (Shannon) of Newbern, Tennessee; one sister, Amanda Clark (Charles) of Trimble, Tennessee; her grand-mother, Helen Golightley of Newbern, Tennessee; her mother-in-law, Mary Butler of Newbern, Tennessee and a sister-in-law, Leigh Ann Butler Daniels (Josh) of Newbern, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her father, William "Butch" Stover.

Honoring Mrs. Butler as pallbearers will be Allen Burns, Jeremy Stover, Steven Stover, Lee Stover, Cody Stover, Kyle Stover, John Tyler Willis, Lyle Willis and Coley Willis.
