William Jackson "Jack" Clark was the son of William Henry Clark and his first wife, Catherine Lawson. He married Mattie A. Warder on 20 January 1874, and together they were the parents of 4 children:

Walter Elvis Clark, (1875 - 1964)
Velma Elizabeth Boyd (1878 - 1969)
Mary Ellen Clark (1880 - 1962)
Georgie Stanton Clark (1889 - 1890)

William Jackson Clark followed the family trade, operating mills in Metcalfe, Barren, and Simpson counties in Kentucky, and in Rush county, Indiana. According to the obituary for his half-brother, Selby Clark, Jack died in Marion, Indiana just days prior to Selby.

Jack was survived by his wife and 3 children, his father, a number of siblings, half-siblings, and step-siblings. He is buried with his sister, Mary Bell Clark (1859-1887). Her marker is visible in the upper left corner of the photo for Georgie Stanton Clark.
