Tammy Lynn Collins, 49, of Beckley, WV departed this life on Saturday, December 14, 2019. She enjoyed being at the baseball field, the great outdoors, and helping others to the very end as an organ donor. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all that knew her.
She was born on December 28, 1969 to the late Richard Haven "Jack Rabbit" Thompson Sr. (1937-2016) and Virginia Gill-Thompson in Beckley, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Collins (Deceased).
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Mark Haney & wife Amanda Haney; brother, Ricky Thompson & wife Donna Thompson; sisters, Charlotte Thompson-Teague and Rebecca Thompson-Lipford; grandchildren, Isaiah Haney, Hannah Haney, Khonor Haney, Raegan Haney, Landon Sutphin, Caden Sutphin, Easton Wright, and Zane McMillan; niece, Myra Redden; nephew, Buster Redden; and significant other, James Haney.
A Memorial service will be held at 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Friends may gather with the family on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
