Joyce Delane Gatlin passed away on December 17, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus at the age of 70. She died peacefully surrounded by family and friends. She was born March 28, 1949 to the late James Dudley and Frances Evelyn Langley Miller.
Funeral services will 2 PM Friday December 20, 2019 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Stanley Blaylock officiating assisted by Rev. Mike McPherson. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Miller, Andy Miller, William Sullivan, Morris Langley Jr, J.P. Winters, Kyle Gordon, Dwight Prisock, and R.B. Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Staff of Baptist Hospice-Golden Triangle, Drs. and staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held 12 PM until 2 PM on Friday December 20, 2019 at Robinson Funeral Home.
She is survived by daughters, Michelle Pointer (Bill) of Caledonia, and Cindy Cannon (Cain) of West Point; brother Jimmy Miller (Debbie) of West Point; grandchildren Brittany Banal (Joseph), Hope Smith, Katelyn Keltner, Carmen Cannon, Summer Demary; great grandchildren Greyson Banal, Piper Demary, and Paisley Demary.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jimmy Gatlin.
