Simo Häyhä was a Finnish soldier, who is widely considered to be the most successful sniper in history.Finnish sniper
Nicknamed "White Death" by adversaries. Killed 505 in the Winter War, between Finland and against the Red Army.
After the war he became a dog breeder and moose hunter.
When asked in 1998 how he had become such a good shooter, Häyhä answered "Practice." When asked if he regretted killing so many people, he said, "I only did my duty, and what I was told to do, as well as I could."
