Whitney Morgan, 24, of Joshua passed away December 16, 2019. She was born December 5, 1995 in Cleburne to Wendell Morgan, Jr. and Patricia Thompson.
She was a machine operator for Dyna Energetics and was working towards her degree to become a service technician through Concord Career College. She was a member of St. Paul Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Cleburne.
Whitney was an excellent mother of 2 wonderful children. She was a great caregiver, very loving and giving. Her manner of always being joyful, coupled with her beautiful smile never failed to lighten up the room. She was a hard worker who could accomplish anything she set her mind to.
Whitney was a 2014 graduate of Cleburne High School and a talented athlete, playing three years of Varsity basketball for Cleburne High School. Her outgoing personality made teammates into friends and friends became like sisters. She and her teammates did everything together. Basketball was her life before she became a mother.
Survivors include her daughter, Mya Green; son, Micah Green; her children’s father, Jacob Green; father, Wendell Morgan, Jr., mother, Patricia Thompson; brother, Patrick De’mon Morgan; grand parents, aunts, uncles, nephew, niece, godparents, cousins, numerous other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her grand mother, Linda Lou Thompson; grand father, Alexander Echols and cousin, J’Sean Morgan.
Services will be conducted December 21, 2019. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery...CPFH
