ANDERSON--Frank D Ashby, 79, of Anderson passed away on Nov. 25, 2019 at his residence. He was born on Oct. 19, 1940 in Anderson, where he resided all of his life. Frank graduated from Madison Heights High School, and served his country in the Army Reserves. He retired as a Master Mechanic at the City Garage for the City of Anderson. He was a member of East Side House of Prayer. He enjoyed going to garage sales, fishing, watching NASCAR, especially Mark Martin. He loved his church, and singing while he was there, even singing up until his last days. Most of all he loved to spend time with his beloved wife, Tina.
Frank was a hard worker all of his life, always saying that his job at Geeting's Small Engine Repair was his hardest, but the most enjoyable of his career.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tina; children, Lori and Scott; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special friends, Chuck, Clayton, Steve and Paul.
He was preceded in death by his son, Frankie Lee Ashby; his mother, Juanita Ashby; and his father, Frank Ashby.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Loose Funeral Home & Crematory, Anderson Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Boicourt officiating.
