Jonathon "Big John" Elias Rush, II of Chapel Hill, was the 5th child born to Jonathon Elias Rush, Sr. and Lola Duke-Rush. He was born 18 Jul 1928 in Tyler, Texas.
He married Winell Simmons in 1950 and they had three children. He married the love of his life Margie Feb 1957 and they spent the remainder of their lives together until her death.
Mr. Rush was preceded in death by his parents Jonathon and Lola Rush. His wife Margie Gilbert-Rush, daughter Betty Rush-Kendall and grandson Brian Walker. In addition, he was preceded in death by all his siblings.
He is survived by his children
