Tommy was a loving and devoted father who put family and friends above all. He was a hard-working man who sacrificed time with his family and friends to make sure no one went without. Tommy was the one to call if you ever needed anything and he would be there without question or expecting anything in return. He would give his last dime or shirt off his back to help a friend who needed him. Tommy also loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed trips to the lake with his friends or his daughter, Auburn. His son Jaxon would drag him to our pond with his little fishing pole, holding Tommy’s hand. Those are the moments that made his sacrifices worth it to him. He enjoyed the camping trios we took with our close friends this last summer and was looking forward too many more. I don’t think we will ever forget him and his big bag of pretzels! To say that Tommy was a wonderful and amazing man, father, and friend would be an understatement. To many of us he was our angel here on Earth. Although he has been called home, I know that he will be by our sides to guide us and protect us. He will live on through our memories of him. He may not have known just how loved he was or how many lives he touched during his time with us, but I know he would be very proud of the miracles taking place in his passing. R.I.P. Tommy Melton, you will be missed beyond measure and the love we have for you will be forever strong. Until we meet again my love, We Love You.

In Loving Memory
For Someone who meant so much
And loved by all he knew
Who left behind trail of tears
And precious memories, too

We loved the sunshine in his smile
And the kindness in his heart
But Heaven saw that he was tired
Which meant we had to part

And now that it’s his special day
Dear angels, hear our prayer
Please guard him with your gentle wings
And tend to him with care

For he was someone wonderful
And words just can’t convey
How much we wish that he was here once more with us today
