Wilson- Funeral services for Jim C. Brooks, 84, of Wilson are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Rexroat Baptist Church in Wilson with Rev. Monte Dean officiating and Rev. Edward Wise assisting. Interment will follow at Keller Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Jim was born on October 18, 1935 in Lulu, OK to the late Mr. Greer Brooks and Mrs. Margie (Smith) Brooks. He departed this life on Monday, December 16, 2019 at his residence in Ardmore.

Jim was raised in Lulu attending school there. He married Ms. Shirley Lucke and to this union they were blessed with four children, Ernie,Danny, Annavee, and Sheila. Jim owned and operated several cattle Dairy’s in Oklahoma and also managed them while residing in Montana and Arizona. Later in life Jim became a cross country truck driver, which led to him gaining employment with Texaco. Jim worked for Texaco for almost 20 years retiring as superintendent in 1994. . Jim married Ms. Ailene Wainscott on April 8, 2006 at the Rexroat Baptist Church. Jim's retirement and preretirementt passions They also where Jim was a long time member. He was known to mow the church yard and help cook for the mens breakfast. Jim also loved attending bluegrass festivals.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Chad Brooks; sisters, Joyce Williams, Mary Nell Scroggins, Ethelene McNeal, and Linda K. Brooks; brothers, John Brooks and Roy Brooks.

He is survived by his wife Ailene of the home; children, Ernie Brooks and wife Geneva of Dublin, TX, Danny Brooks and wife Sandy of Wilson, Annavee Kullberg and husband Andy of Brighton, CO, and Sheila Sherman of Vail, CO; brothers, Tom Brooks of San Diego, CA, Larry Brooks of Corsgold, CA, and Charlie Brooks of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Nickie Maillet and husband Justin, Daniel Brooks and wife Kendra, Jake Brooks and wife Amanda, Timothy Jones, Sarah Goode and husband Dustin, Zach Kullberg, Samuel Kullberg, Trevor Kullberg, Jared Weaver and wife Karen, Ty Weaver and wife Sarah, Bray Weaver, Tanner Atwood, Nicholas Haisler, and Cooper Haisler; 11 great grandchildren; a special niece, Donna Hutchins; numerous other family and a host of friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Brooks, Jake Brooks, Timothy Jones, Sam Kull
