Patricia Ann “Patty” Whitfield, 68, formerly of Birmingport, currently of Hueytown, passed away November 4, 2019. Patty went to Alliance Elementary school and Oak Grove High School. She attended Liberty Baptist Church. She loved to care for her nieces and nephews.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents W.L. and Brooks Whitfield; brothers W.T. Whitfield, Larry Whitfield, sisters Cheryl Callahan, Terentia Caudle; nephew Carlton “Carl” Clyde Callahan, Jr.. He is survived by her sister Debra Gill (Bruce); sisters-in-law Frances Whitfield, and Georgia Burr; nieces Sandy Casey (Terry), Sherry Williams (Rodney), Rhonda Goodwin, (Ronnie), Lisa Dagnan (Jerry), Debra Zenah (Chris), Christy Holmes, Kassandra Holmes (Eric), Brooks Glibert (Chris); nephews Gary Callahan (Tracy), George McCreless, Jr. (Dana), Rocky Gill (Mandy), and Kevin Caudle (Cecily); numerous great nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Crant Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Cemetery.
