Lorraine J. Grant, 86, of Keansburg, passed away on Thursday, December 12th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
She was born and raised in Newark, prior to moving to Keansburg. Lorraine was a crossing guard for the Keansburg Borough; she enjoyed bowling, watching movies with friends.
Lorraine was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas Grant. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law; Thomas and Stacey Grant of Pennsylvania; four brothers; Harry Schaeffer of Pennsylvania, Robert Schaeffer of Manchester, Sonny Schaeffer of Hazlet and Eddie Schaeffer of Middletown; three sisters; Gail Santora of Toms River, Catherine Castles of North Middletown, Barbara McInnes of Port Monmouth; and her grandchild Shayla.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation was private On Monday, December 23rd at 10:30am there will be a service for Lorraine at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
