Obituary of Martha Slaughter Lynch
LUGOFF- A funeral service for Martha Elizabeth Slaughter Lynch, 69, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers. memorials may be made to Powers Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
Mrs. Lynch, wife of the late Jack Lynch, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019. Born in Laurel, MS, she was a daughter of the late William “Billy” and Lillian Johnson Slaughter. Mrs. Lynch was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved her family and watching football, especially the Gamecocks and Saints.
Surviving are her children, April Friedrichs (Marc), Martha Renee Porcu (Jason), Caleb Lynch (Wendi); siblings, Carol Landrum (Keith), Billy Ray Slaughter (Cecilia), Jo Ellen Baggett (Roy); and grandchildren, Dustin Friedrichs, Cameron Friedrichs, Isabella Friedrichs, Dylan Porcu, Ashlyn Porcu, Hannah Porcu, Scarlett Lynch, and Amelia Lynch. She was predeceased by an infant son.
