Kathy Anita Bentley of Chickamauga died Sunday, March 12, at a local hospital. She was 54.

She attended Park City Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Pauline Goodson Paine; sister, Kim Paine.

Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, William H. Bentley of Chickamauga; four children and their spouses, Raymond and Garronica Bentley of Ringgold, Deanna and Steven Swaney of Chickamauga, Jennifer Bentley of Dalton, Jeremy and Lisa Bentley of Rossville, three brothers, Billy, Gerald and Loyd Roberts; four sisters, Ailene Simmons, Shelly and Jenny Paine, Gail Lowry; 11 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Services: Wednesday, March 15, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Proctor officiating. Burial: Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville. Visitation: Tuesday, March 14, after 3 p.m., and prior to the service Wednesday. Online guestbook at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
