Mr. Ricky Lane Walker, 71 of Blackshear, passed away Sunday afternoon at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House with his family by his side ..
A native of Savannah and a son of the late Herman Colquitt Walker and Mary Fosteen Mincey ; also preceded in death by two siblings: a infant daughter and Mary Fosteen Mincey
He had lived in Pierce County most of his life and was a 1967 graduate of Blackshear High School and went to serve his country by joining the US Air Force.
He retired from CSX Transportation as a Carman and a member of the Offerman Baptist Church .
He enjoyed fishing and gardening and was always joking around with everyone. A loving husband, father, and papa he was and he will certainly be missed by them all.
Survivors include his wife : Kaye Plymel Walker of Blackshear ; they were married in 1975
two daughters:
