CLARKSBURG — Catherine Mae Robinson, 81, of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at her residence.
She was born February 14, 1938, in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of the late Michele Dominic and Mary Bolsani Gola.
Catherine graduated from Victory High School, Class of 1956. She was a beloved manager at Harmony Valley Retirement Community.
Catherine loved cooking, baking, spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was always helping others and loved taking care of her family and friends. She was a member of the Reynoldsville Baptist Church.
Catherine is survived by her husband of 61 years, whom she married February 14, 1958, John William Robinson; two children, Mark Anthony Robinson and wife, Debbie and Adda McAtee and husband, Perry; four grandchildren, Natalie Maria New and husband, Chipper, Mallory Lynn Robinson, Alec Michael McAtee and Trey Scott McAtee; one great- granddaughter, Madelynn Maria New; four siblings, Lawrence Gola and Louise, Emilio “Shorty” Gola and Carolyn, Santina Ware and Mike Gola and Dottie and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Manny Dominic Gola and Carl Gola.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 3 - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jon Hayes officiating.
