CLARKSBURG — Kimberly Sue “Kim” Reed, 62, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at home following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on June 28, 1957 in Clarksburg, a daughter of Lester “Dink” and Shirley Gillespie Reed.
In addition to her parents, Kim is survived by her daughter, Kristina Perrin and four cousins, Rick Reed, Tammy Gibson, Bill Coleman and Rick Coleman.
Miss Reed is preceded in death by her son, Sgt. David Allan Martin; one brother, Jerry Reed and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Kim was a 1975 graduate of Washington Irving High School. She worked as a cashier at Lowe’s and previously invested over 15 years at Walmart. She will be greatly missed.
Friends and Family may call to the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 2 - 3 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at the conclusion of the gathering, with Rev. Rita Robinson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Kim’s honor to the Humane Society of Harrison County, 2450 Saltwell Rd, Shinnston, WV 26431.
