Mother Freddie B. Moore, 83, of South 8th Street, Elkhart, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Riverside Village, Elkhart, Indiana.

Freddie was born May 15, 1936 in Osceola, Arkansas to Mack and Gertrude (Thomas) Smith. She was united in holy matrimony June 4, 1957 in Arkansas to Harry Moore. She was a member of Greater Wayside Church of God in Christ, Elkhart, Indiana, where she served on the Mother’s Board 13 years. She formerly served as a Evangelist Missionary and formerly served 18 years as the District Missionary for the Solid Rock District. Her passions were children, sewing, going to church and especially debating in Sunday School and Y.P.W.W.

Mother Moore was preceded in death by her parents: Mack and Gertrude Smith; her husband, Elder Harry Moore; two brothers: Willie Dotson and Nazaree Johnson.

Mother Moore leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Leenetric (Mike) Brown; her son, Elder Don Duwayne (Anita) Williams both of Elkhart, Indiana; her sister, Willa Bea Sanders of Arkansas; three brothers: Will Johnson Jr., of Oklahoma, Oscar Lee Johnson of Arkansas and Ellis Lee Johnson of Oregon; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
