Funeral services for W. Neville Rice of 214 Elliot street were held at 1 pm today at Mitchell's funeral home on Putney road. Rev. Paul F. Swarthout, pastor of the First Baptist church officiated. The burial took place in West Dover. The bearers were Sherman Rice, Weston Snow, William Harris and Claude Upton. Those who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bogle, Mr. and Mrs. Aldin Bigelow of Jamaica; Mr. and Mrs. William Harris, Dale Harris, Leon Bogle, Ora Bogle, Frank Bogle, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Upton, Mr. and Mrs. Weston Howe, Mrs. Flora Shippee, of West Dover, Mr. and Mrs Sherman Rice of West Chesterfield, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Crosby and Mrs. Lewis Bogle and daughter of Dummerston.

His wife Emma C (Pike) Rice survives him. He was predeceased by a son Verne Chester Rice who died in 1899.
