Mark A. Vanderhoof, age 66, of Colby, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, December 5, 2019.
A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Rev. Mark Neumann will officiate. Interment will follow at West Spencer Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Mark was born on November 2, 1953, the son of Charles and Ruth (Kohnhorst) Vanderhoof in Marshfield. He graduated from Spencer High School in 1972. Mark worked for Christensen Farms for many years. He enjoyed fishing, playing darts, gambling and hanging with his friends at Tim’s Northside Bar.
Mark is survived by his three children: James (Kelly) Vanderhoof of Holmen, Jeff (Jane) Vanderhoof of Colby and Rebecca Vanderhoof of Colby; four grandchildren: Carter, Hayden, Alexis and Trisha; his mother, Ruth of Colby; two brothers: Larry of Colby and Roger (Tammy) of Spencer; four nieces and nephews: Shawna Vanderhoof, Roger Vanderhoof II, Deanna (Carl) Delis and Jason (Amanda) Vanderhoof; seven great-nieces and great-nephews: Jada, Lexi, Noah, Keagan, Danica, Cora and Kobe; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2018.
