He was the son of Bradie Alvie Dennis and Alice Myrtle Dennis.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Claudia Dell Dennis.
He is survived by is son, Thomas William Dennis, Jr. (Tracy); his daughters, Debra Marie Brown and Donna Lee Alice Price (Ralph); his brother, Chester Dennis; and his sisters, Alice Etter Abbot and Bertha Miles. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
