Nancy Cain, 83, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Parkview Care Center. She was born December 2, 1936 to the late James and Willie Ruth (Hopper) Morgan.

Nancy was a clerk at Welborn Hospital for 10 years. She was a member of the West Side Christian Church and helped with the Weekday Christian Education Program.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth "Candy" (Jack) Travis, Charlene Cain, Rose (Daniel) Moore; grandchildren, Rachel Paul, Andrea Moore; great grandchildren, Haley Harper, Brennon Harper; brother, James Morgan; sister, Patricia Stevens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Cain; grandchildren, Anya Paul, William Clarence and sisters, Mildred Weisheit, Dorothea Trujillo, and Joyce Korff.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave., Evansville. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial Alexander Memorial Park. Published in Courier Press, December 15, 2019.
