Scott Russell Robinson, 64, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be 2-4pm Sunday, December 15, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Brandon, East Campus on College St. with the funeral service following at 4pm. Graveside services will be 11:30am Monday, December 16, 2019, at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, AL.

Scott was born in Mobile, AL on October 1, 1955, to Miriam Strickland Robinson Waddell and the late Hilton C. Robinson. He grew up in Ocean Springs, MS and went on to graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi. Scott was a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon, MS, where he was a deacon, involved in the Nursing Home Ministry and went on several mission trips to Haiti. He loved his family dearly.

Scott is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 40 years, Martha Robinson; children, Ashley Robinson and Daniel (Meagan) Robinson; his grandchildren who were the pride and joy of his life, Luke Robinson and Eli Robinson; mother, Miriam Waddell; siblings, Glenn (Lynn) Robinson, Jerry (Valerie) Robinson, Carolyn Bohnenstiehl, James Waddell, Faye Gibert, Tracy Flurry and Vicki Jo Clarke; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Hilton C. Robinson; step-father, James Waddell; sister, Lee Ann Carter; grandparents, William and Martha Strickland and William Marvin and Ida Robinson.
