Parents: Frank Beymer (born in Colorado) and Effie Bell (Moyer) Beymer (born in Tennessee); h#1-John A. Glaefke, children: Leonard and Eleanor Glaefke; h-George Mantis, son-Jimmie, Lloyd, and Georgia Mantis; h#3-William Frederick "Fred" Matlock, children: Juanita, Lulu, Betty, and Carol Adella Matlock Wasson. Believed to have been adopted by Sylvanus and Lulu Wright after Dellie's mother died and her grandmother, Eliza Beymer, had Dellie in the 1910 census. Sylvanus and Lulu Wright are buried in Penland Cemetery, Lexington, Morrow, Oregon, where Dellie's mother Effie Bell Moyer Beymer is buried.

"Obituaries":
Funeral for Dellie Irene Matlock of North Portland will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Monument Valley Cemetery in Monument. She died Friday in a Portland hospital at the age of 84.

Mrs. Matlock, a homemaker, was born in Eight Mile, near Heppner. She and her husband, Fred, operated a dairy south of Ione until 1924, when they moved to Bend to operate a hay farm. They moved to Lexington in 1927, where she cooked for farm hands during wheat harvests. In 1933, she moved to The Dalles.

The Matlocks settled in Beaverton in the 1950s, where they operated Fred's Shoe Repair until her husband's death in 1963. Mrs. Matlock moved to Portland in 1963.

Survivors include four daughters, Juanita Ignowski of The Dalles, Lulu Cole and Betty Wilson, both of Portland, and Carol Wasson of Zigzag, seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Disposition will be by cremation.
