Gary M. "Mr. Nice Guy" Fields, 76, of Phoenix, NY went to be with his wife on Tuesday. He was born June 5, 1943 in Phoenix, NY, to Earl and Gertrude Fields. Gary retired from Carrier Corp after many years of service. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Christine, in 2016; his siblings, Ralph, Bob, George, Charles, Polly, Vera, Elaine, Leona, Paul, Virginia; and his parents. He is survived by his only daughter, Ashley (Mike) McClain; his granddaughters, Chloe and Sadie, whom he adored; his brother, Jim; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours at this time. A celebration of life and burial will take place in Spring of 2020. Contributions may be made to the Scleroderma Research Foundation.
