Tommy Mayfield was born June 28, 1950 in Marshall, Texas. Tommy was one of seven children born to Andrew Jackson and Georgia Lee Mayfield. He was raised in Marshall and Dallas, Texas. Mr. Mayfield served in the U.S. Army. Tommy spent his career in Cement Plant Management working for TXI. He was a talented guitar player and loved listening to Johnny Cash. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Patsy, and Alice Faye; brother, Jerry Mayfield; and son, Andy Mayfield.
